How MDX Captures Borrower Credit Performance Lifecycle

MDX measures the cumulative credit experience of mortgage loans in the United States, capturing credit positive, neutral, and negative outcomes.

MDX focuses on credit events, such as serious delinquencies and modifications, to calculate a credit stress rate. Loss severity considerations are simplified allowing for timely determinations of borrower credit stress.

MDX Index Credit Events are designed to capture borrower credit stress by focusing on measurable evidence earlier in the timeline to provide a forward indicator of loss.
